SnapNames led the four-figure .com supporting cast with AMZ.com at $9,750. Their roster also included GZC.com ($6,550), Vakanties.com ($6,501) and Suizhou.com ($6,250). DHJ.com added $5,890. Coni.com kicked in $4,100 and Harrodsburg.com brought $4,000.

Also at SnapNames, Stelle.com staked out $3,700, SlotTournament.com collected a $3,440 jackpot and VacatureBank.com deposited $3,200. BuyDVD.com drew $3,100 while TextCast.com and PenCast.com posted $3,000 each. TaxSaving.com conserved $2,650, Gilfs.com generated $2,450 and Casares.com rang up $2,087.

Back at NameJet MalaysiaAir.com landed with $9,023 on board, ePing.com posted $8,700 and CleanEating.com devoured $8,101. Wickes.com went for $7,501, USASports.com spawned $7,008 and TVBank.com withdrew $6,655. Zava.com unzipped $6,500, Xina.com zapped $6,000, Ponte.com produced $5,655 and LifeSearch.com located $5,055. 

NameJet had 35 more .com sales ranging from $2,000 to $4,910 that are listed in the table below:

At Sedo HostDNS.com connected for $8,400, Tereva.com took in $8,259 and Flirt24.com attracted $8,000. Développementdurable.com (IDN) doled out $7,700, SocialTalk.com tacked on $7,500 and Require.com racked up $7,000.

Echafaudage.com fetched $6,300 while Aatime.com and NationwideSeries.com secured $6,000 each. LimousineHire.com landed $5,880, Purchased.com penciled in $5,499, AutoLogic.com locked up $5,250 and Kaika.com corralled $5,099.

Sedo had 99 more .com sales ranging  from $2,000 to $5,000 that are listed in the table below:

The AfternicDLS had a big week, booking almost $1.5 million in total sales. Their roster included MarketQuest.com ($7,500), CRTA.com ($6,951) and Mingtsai.com ($6,600). Global-Finance.com garnered $6,000, FastTechnology.com turned in $5,660 and PalBox.com pulled $5,588. 

Synthesist.com and OpenSkyUS.com yielded $5,500 apiece while CityCamp.com sold for $5,400. A four-name pack at $5,000 each included Reconn.com, ShoppingGames.com, SocialStatus.com and StickyBits.com. 

The Afternic DLS had 135 more four-figure .com sales ranging from $2,000 to $4,988. You can check those out in the table below:

As part of their expanded promotion program, the AfternicDLS also sold five more names through Sedo: Free-Horoscope.com ($3,200), Profumerie.com ($3,188), AllUNeed.com ($2,541), MasterProjects.com ($2,440) and 2Options.com ($2,250). 

Elsewhere, Latonas.com sold PropertyAds.com and Vibromasseur.com for $5,000 each, Moniker.com moved GayFlicks.com for $4,149 and YummyNames.com sold Extende.com for $2,577.  

Country Codes

The ccTLDs, especially powerhouse extensions .de (Germany) and .co.uk (Great Britain), are continuing to enjoy the boom they enjoyed in 2009 when the total value of country code sales reported to us soared 28% over the previous year (there are more details on this in our latest monthly newsletter). Over the past two weeks we logged 11 ccTLD sales of five figures or more with two of those cracking the six-figure mark; #1 Website.de at $141,610 and #2 Designer.co.uk at $122,080. 

Both of those domains were sold by Sedo who swept 38 of the 40 positions on our expanded Country Code chart. The only venues able to break through the Sedo monopoly were OwnThisDomain.co.uk who sold #11 AmateurPoker.co.uk for $10,000 and Got.us who sold #13 (tie) GVT.us to a Houston based software company for $7,000. 

While .de and .co.uk domains traditionally dominate the ccTLD action, other country code extensions have been popping up fairly often on our country code charts  including France's .fr which had two names in the first 15 this week - #3 Lundi.fr at $70,000 and #13 (tie) AssuranceScooter.fr at $7,000. Russia's .ru also put two names in the first 15 and claimed four places on the leader board overall. Their roster was led by Deichmann.ru at $10,500.

There were dozens of additional four figure sales off the chart with Sedo again accounting for the vast majority of those. Their supplemental list was led by ActiveNation.co.uk at $3,600 and two names that went for $3,500 apiece; Backöfen.de (IDN) and Promovacances.be.

Vornamen-Datenbank.de dispensed $3,360, NSSL.co.uk contributed $3,200 and Anoniem.nl notched $3,150. BookFactory.eu churned out $3,111, Häuser.eu (IDN) hauled in $3,087 and Sportnahrung.eu speared $3,080. 

Sedo had 60 more country code sales ranging from $2,000 to $3,000 that are listed in the chart below:

Elsewhere NetFleet.com.au sold K9.com.au ($2,070), IceSkating.com.au ($1,540), NewAndUsedCaravans.com.au ($1,260) and Golfer.com.au ($1,125). Registrars.co.uk rang up $1,600 for TaxiSales.co.uk and $1,592 for LoveYourSmile.co.uk. The AfternicDLS tuned in $1,000 with ColoradoHomes.tv and INT.im changed hands for $1,000 in a private sale.

Global Contenders (Non .com gTLDs: .biz, .info, .mobi, .net, .org, .pro & .tel)

A nice two-letter .org led the Global Contenders (non .com gTLDs) sales over the past two weeks with a $21,600 transaction handled through Sedo. There were two other five-figure sales in this category, but over the 14-day period only 7 GC sales above $5,000 were reported. 

With the aftermarket continuing to show a strong preference for .coms and local ccTLDs over non .com gTLDs one has to wonder how investors will view resale prospects for the unlimited number of new non .com gTLDs that ICANN hopes to start rolling out later this year. Certainly, the success or failure of any of the new gTLDs will hinge more on new registrations and development activity than aftermarket sales results, but the data shows that entrepreneurs looking to make money from new gTLDs shouldn't expect significant profits to come from the secondary market.

The .nets continue to be the most popular extension in this category as they took 23 of the 40 chart entries on our new GC leader board. The .orgs also continue to hold their own with a dozen entries. .Info scored with a pair of top ten domains; #5 BWL.info at $8,400 and #8 Umzuege.info at $4,838. A third .info landed at #20 - Enfant.info at $2,800.

.Biz and .Travel also made appearances this week. #21 PDX.biz earned $2,800 at Sedo and #40 Dental.travel drilled $2,295 at the same venue. Sedo piled up 15 chart entries and the AfternicDLS did even better, placing 23 names on the expanded GC chart.

There were dozens of additional GC sales just off the chart, led by NameJet's $2,250 sale of CMC-Ocean.org. Their roster also included EnvironmentalSustainability.info ($2,214), Faster.net ($2,100) and CreateAWebsite.net ($1,810). 

Geneve.org gathered $1,611, LearningOnline.org landed $1,550 and Deutschebotschaft-China.org chipped in $1,521. HCA.net nailed $1,366, 5N.org grossed $1,300 and LongtermCareCareers.org captured $1,234. ModelAirplanes.net flew off with $1,200, Termites.info chewed up $1,111 and two others; IRT.net and WaterConserve.info went for $1,005 each. In another sale, 672.net counted out $1,002. 

The AfternicDLS had 51 more non .com gTLD sales ranging from $1,000 to $2,000. You can check those out in the table below:

The AfternicDLS used Sedo to sell three more domains through their expanded promotion platform, Those were Schaukel.net ($1,570), AssetAllocation.net ($1,275) and ISDI.org ($1,183). 

At Sedo Kork.info kept the cash registers ringing with a $2,240 sale. PharmacyTechnicians.net tacked on $2,200 and  three others; Girokontovergleich.org, IT-recht.net and Kupplung.mobi added $2,100 apiece. NewsWorks.org tossed another $2,028 into the till.

Elsewhere, Moniker moved Okey.org for $1,499, SnapNames sold RMJ.net for $1,350 and YummyNames found UAC.org a new home for $1,000.
