Country Codes

The country codes enjoyed a superb couple of weeks, logging the year's biggest ccTLD sale to date, Saturn.pl at $189,930, and another 13 sales that cleared the five-figure mark. Those high end sales filled the first 14 slots on our expanded Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart. All of them were listed in the all extension section you saw earlier, so the biggest sale you haven't yet seen in this category is #15 ISG.co.uk, sold at Sedo for $9,540. 

Sedo went on to sweep 29 of the 40 chart entries including #16 Sarees.in at $9,500. Four charted domains changed hands in private transactions. NoktaDomains claimed three spots, including #17 StorageBox.co.uk at $9,000, and VirtualPropertyExpert.com.au also accounted for three. NetFleet.com.au and DomainLore.co.uk (with #18 HPICheck.co.uk at $8,680) each had one. 

A pair of nice .TV sales rounded out the top half of the elite list. Jim Holleran sold Horoscope.tv and Horoscopes.tv for $8,000 each. 

Here is how the ccTLD leaders stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, Feb. 5:

There were dozens of additional four-figure ccTLD sales off the chart with Sedo, as usual, ringing up the vast majority of those including KP.cc ($4,000), Deckenlampen.de ($3,990) and Deals.me ($3,900). 

Sedo had 133 more four-figure ccTLD sales ranging from $1,000 to $3,824 that are listed in the table below:

NoktaDomains sold IndustrialSewingMachines.co.uk ($3,000), EmbroideryMachines.co.uk ($2,800) and CurrencyTransfer.co.uk ($2,000). Their roster also included EmbroideryThread.co.uk ($1,800), HolidaysToEgypt.co.uk ($1,100) and CoffeeBrands.co.uk ($1,000). 

NetFleet.com.au rang up $2,223 for Jewellery.co.nz, $2,160,  $1,731 for Rentobuy.com.au and $1,109 for Plates.com.au. Meanwhile. VirtualPropertyExpert.com.au picked up $2,160 for OnlineApproval.net.au.

DomainLore.co.uk booked $2,067 for SafetyEquipment.co.uk, $1,590 for DebtSettlementOrder.co.uk and $1,137 for Proxy.org.uk. 

Elsewhere, Graham Johnson sold Club10.co.za for $2,299.

Non .com gTLDs (.biz, .info, .mobi, .net, .org, .asia, .pro & .tel)

The non.com gTLDs also shared in the sales bounty we saw over the past two weeks, piling up ten five figure sales, led by DIY.org at $60,000 via GoDaddyAuctions. You saw those top ten sales in the all extension section above, so the best sale you haven't yet seen in this category is #11 on our expanded Non .com gTLDs Top 40 Chart - FreeAgency.net, sold at the AfternicDLS for $7,500. 

The AfternicDLS always does well in this category and that was the case again as they led all venues by piling up 17 chart entries. Their list included three $6,000 sales that tied for #14; ALK.net, LOD.net and Moments.org. Sedo also had a very solid outing charting 15 names on the elite list including two that tied for #12; Gutachter.org and Tarocchi.net at $6,650 apiece. 

Here's how all of the Non .Com gTLD leaders stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, Feb. 5:

There were dozens of additional four-figure non .com gTLD sales just off the chart led by AfternicDLS sales of WinDriver.org ($2,788) and Aureus.net ($2,700). ResumeBuilder.org brought $2,588 and Homem.net added $2,509.

The AfternicDLS had 54 more four-figure sales in this category ranging from $1,000 to $2,500. Those are listed in the table below:
