Sedo led the .com supporting cast with 13 more five-figure sales led by GoalBet.com ($12,900), Creditimmobilier.com ($12,578) and 8Mobile.com ($12,000). UrbanJunkies.com scored another $11,627 while PornRoulette.com posted $11,251 and Evangelist.com landed $11,000. 

Sedo's hit parade continued with CarPictures1.com at $10,500 and HCD.com at $10,100. Those two were followed by a five-name logjam at $10,000 apiece that included AskTheVet.com, FlowerEssences.com, Inshallah.com, RealInsurance.com and Reson8.com. 

Sedo had 112 more .com sales ranging from $2,000 to $9,675. Those are listed in the table below:

Back at the AfternicDLS LatinMedia.com commanded $8,500 and JetPump.com produced $8,000. BizEngine.com generated $7,225, DanielNegreanu.com corralled $6,710 and LuxEstate.com kicked in $5,940.

Country Codes

The year's 2nd biggest cctLD sale and a boatload of solid .tv auction sales at Sedo set the pace in the Country Code category this week. Software.de took the top spot on our expanded Top 40 ccTLD sales chart after changing hands for over $303,000 in a blockbuster transaction at Sedo, a venue that swept all 40 chart positions!

Sedo also placed 21 .tv domains on the elite list after selling them off in their recent premium .tv domain auction. You saw many of those on the all extension leader board earlier. Some big ones that did not make that list but are on the Country Code chart include Vacation.tv ($14,000), Stream.tv ($13,755) and Loans.tv ($13,600). 

Here is how all of the country code leaders stacked up for the two weeks ending May 3:

There were more than 200 additional four figure sales off the ccTLD chart with Sedo accounting for the vast majority of those. Their supplemental list was led by Show.tv ($7,870) while CHA.se and Lifestyle.tv tuned in $7,500 each and WS.de delivered $7,418. 

Sedo had a remarkable 184 more country code sales ranging from $1,000 to $6,450 that are listed in the chart below:

At MissDomain.com Trainee.se and Trainee.nu went for $6,179 each. They also sold several domains in a charity auction for Haitian earthquake relief; IJ.se ($3,032), Forsakringar.nu ("insurances") at $1,419, Prylar.nu ("stuff") at $1,097, Uthyres.nu ("for rent") at $1,097 and Skidor.nu ("skis") at $1,032. 

Elsewhere, Drop.com.au sold Goals.com.au (US $2,729), BalanceTransferCreditCards.com.au (US $2,429) and Homeopathy.com.au (US $2,022). Nokta Domains sold DebtManagementPlan.co.uk for $4,200, Moniker moved Sketch.me for $1,399 and GoDaddy Auctions sold AlgenWeb.us for $1,083.

Global Contenders (Non .com gTLDs: .biz, .info, .mobi, .net, .org, .asia, .pro & .tel)

While the .coms and ccTLDs were rocking over the past two weeks, the Global Contenders (non .com gTLDs) continued to lag their counterparts. Only three five-figure sales were reported in this category, but the biggest one - Insure.asia at $23,865 through Sedo - ranks among the year's 10 biggest GC sales. On the other hand it ranks that high because there has been only one sale over $35,000 reported among the non .com gTLDs so far in 2010.  

Two of the five-figure GC sales were on the all extension leader board you saw at the top of this report. The one you haven't seen yet is #3 MovingIdeas.org at $12,001 via NameJet. A pair of nice geodomains also reached the top ten on the GC leader board; #5 Nebraska.net at $8,005 and #7 NorthDakota.net at $7,010. Both of those domains were sold through Rick Latona Auctions.

Here's how all of the Global Contenders stacked up for the two weeks ending May 3:

There were several dozen additional GC sales just off the chart. NameJet had the highest of those with 4K.net at $2,600. They also scored with CustomerSupport.org at $2,453 and Kenworth.net at $2,258. CTFCU.org brought $1,345, OHM.org added $1,300 and Envy.net notched $1,074. Essti.org and SmartPolicy.org produced $1,010 apiece, USI-Schools.org yielded $1,009 and SexDrive.net braked at $1,000. 

At Sedo Amin.net nabbed $2,581, Gaspreisvergleich.net grossed $2,580 and Cellulari.info sold for $2,516. Mileage.org and PromotionalItems.org produced $2,500 each and PhotoModel.org found $2,463. Rechnungswesen.info unwrapped $2,451 and Doughnut.org downed $2,245. 

Sedo had 41 more GC sales ranging from $1,000 to $2,222 that you can review in the table below:

Sales at the AfternicDLS included GMSI.net ($2,500), Yay.net ($2,250) and SalonSoftware.net ($2,200). TheOtherSide.net added $2,088 and GENM.net contributed $2,021. Three other domains; Ismar.net, LittleOne.org and SpamFAQ.net sold for $2,000 apiece while Bhajans.net, Cencom.net and GlobalEnergy.org generated $1,900 each. MyMinistry.org and LocalBiz.org banked $1,888 apiece and TeenLife.org took in $1,530. Two others; CreativeBusiness.org and YouShare.org added $1,500 each.

At SnapNames MesotheliomaAttorney.net billed $2,176, BeefJerky.net bagged $2,150 and OnlineHighSchool.net welcomed $2,000. Also, Masks.org uncovered $1,507 and ShortLink.net landed at $1,088. 

The sales list at GoDaddy Auctions included MetalGearSolid.org ($1,700), Dizajn.biz ($1,005), Gardenal.org ($1,005) and BethMessiah.org ($1,000). 

Elsewhere Rick Latona Auctions sold PlusSizeClothing.net ($2,400) and BajaCalifornia.net ($2,373) while Nokta Domains moved Kaffeevollautomat.net ($1,500) and Moniker found a buyer for Ghilliesuit.org at $1,038.
