Sedo led the four-figure .com supporting cast with OFB.com at $9,500, followed closely by PlusLoans.com at $9,250. Their roster also included Exch.com ($8,250), FitCard.com ($8,000) and Tagz.com ($7,995). Caby.com collected $7,200, ShoesShop.com took a shine to $7,050 and three others; iPoolTables.com, uProperty.com and VRU.com yielded $7,000 each. 

VCIG.com kicked in $6,250, BizCards.com brought $6,100 and NurseRegistry.com dispensed $6,000. BYV.com bagged $5,700, Comprale.com produced $5,500 and Mushimonsters.com scared up $5,344. Sedo had 52 more .com sales ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 that you can check out in the table below.

At SnapNames.com Lorry.com lit up $9,289, PassportPhoto.com captured $5,928 and ShowerSex.com rinsed off $5,770. eAsia.com cornered $5,589, Gels.com gained $5,020 and DatingBlog.com unbuttoned $5,014. 

SnapNames had 17 more .com sales ranging from $2,000 to $4,801 that are listed below:

At NameJet Controllers.com commanded $9,100, DAJ.com contributed $7,000 and InternetJob.com earned $6,000. UCSD.com added $5,200, BedInABag.com rolled up $5,199 and IncorporateNow.com notched $5,101. MicroJets.com took off with $5,100, Creamery.com bottled $5,050 and WhiteGlove.com dusted off $4,637. 

NameJet had 19 more .com sales ranging from $2,000 to $4,501. Those are listed in the table below.

Back at the AfternicDLS PlacesToGo.com generated $8,995, CafeWorld.com cooked up $8,750 and OnlineOrdering.com attracted $8,500. The latter name had been purchased for just $1,770 in a Moniker/T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction in April 2007. ElegantAffairs.com fetched $7,500, Debet.com deposited $6,500 and Cias.com sold for $6,000.

YouAndI.com captured $5,940, SmartBride.com banked $5,750 and Dating123.com counted out $5,500. McLeod.com and NewTruck.com hauled away $5,000 each while Edgis.com docked at $4,888. Local-Advertising.com landed $4,670 while ZooLot.com and Lajoy.com located $4,588 apiece. eConferences.com registered $4,500, ProgramManagers.com presented $4,388 and Trillenium.com tacked on $4,188.

The AfternicDLS had 118 more .com sales ranging from $2,000 to $4,000. Those are listed in the table below:

The AfternicDLS had more than a dozen additional sales from their expanded promotion platform that places listings at other venues as well as their own. Using Sedo they moved Klappt.com ($6,347), Softmatic.com ($4,116) and Fliegengitter.com ($2,943). Mittelpunkt.com posted $2,541, DiscountPrinter.com churned out $2,500 and MyDine.com dished out $2,392. 

Also via Sedo, Vipere.com penciled in $2,258 while Mucoviscidose.com and Colloques.com collared $2,166 each. Hopitaux.com hooked $2,100 with three others; ColdEarth.com, TradeBeat.com and Wuck.com adding $2,000 apiece. 

The AfternicDLS sold two others through SnapNames; Ero1.com at $5,400 and In2Win.com at $3,188. 

At GoDaddy Auctions, Significant.com secured $6,005, MediaHosting.com managed $4,005 and two others; ElectronicCig.com and GoHockey.com netted $3,000 each. TheExpert.com piped in $2,560, IpeDeck.com displayed $2,100 and RockyMountainReport.com revealed $2,005. 

At RickLatona.com ManhattanCondo.com closed at $5,000 while iStockBroker.com and iBoxing.com knocked out $2,750 each. LoadBalancers.com booked $2,500 and two others; iDoors.com and iTurn.com tossed in $2,000 apiece.

Country Codes

One of the year's top 10 country code sales, Grafikkarte.de ("graphic card" in German), led the ccTLDs this week with a $73,828 sale at Sedo.com. That is just one of nine solid five-figure sales on our Country Code Top 40 chart covering the past two weeks. You saw all of those on our all-extension leader board at the top of this report. 

The biggest ccTLD sale you haven't seen yet is #10 Secure.it (Italian country code) at $8,460 via Sedo. Sedo swept the first 19 positions on the chart and piled up 37 of 40 entries overall as they extended their dominance in the country code category. SnapNames had the highest non Sedo sale, banking $5,722 for #20 Hollywood.us (United States country code). That was one of three .us domains on the leader board, joining #28 Wine.us ($5,041) and #31 Halloween.us ($4,500). 

As is usually the case, Germany's popular .de extension had the most chart entries with 12, followed by Great Britain's .co.uk with six. Italy (.it) and France (.fr) each had four representatives on the elite list. Here is how all of the country code top sellers stacked up for the two weeks ending August 16:

There were many more four-figure ccTLD sales off the chart with Sedo accounting for over 120 alone. Their supplemental list was led by Prijsvergelijken.nl and SkiShop.de at $3,525 each and Wham.co.uk at $3,300. LoveGuru.co.uk coaxed another $3,243 while Kev.co.uk kicked in $3,053 and Wochenbrief.de brought $3,020. 

Sedo had 117 more ccTLD sales ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 that are listed in the table below:

At NetFleet.com.au Boxing.com.au punched out $3,154, Quorn.com.au added $1,992 and GolfShop.com.au chipped in $1,660 (these are U.S. $ figures for these Australian ccTLDs).

Elsewhere, Name Jet sold Share.me for $2,700, SnapNames dispensed Medication.us for $1,380 and the AfternicDLS unpacked InternationalMover.us for $1,041 through Sedo.

Global Contenders (Non .com gTLDs: .biz, .info, .mobi, .net, .org & .tel)

Like the ccTLDs, the Global Contenders registered one of the category's 10 biggest sales year-to-date in our latest reported period. HomeLoans.org did the honors after changing hands for $37,000 in a private sale. That was one of five five-figure GC sales this week, all of which earned spots on the all extension leader board you saw earlier. 

The top GC sale you haven't seen yet is #6 Parents.info, sold for $8,250 at Sedo. Wet.net was next at $7,012 at GoDaddy Auctions. While the .nets and .orgs dominated our expanded GC Top 40 Chart, .info also made a good showing with five chart entries including four on the top half of the leader board.  

Here's how all of the Global Contenders stacked up for the two weeks ending August 16:

There were dozens of additional four-figure GC sales off the chart. Sedo had the highest of those with Meteo.biz and Seitensprung.tel at $2,115 each. PaidSurvey.org added $1,750. Sedo had 20 more sales ranging from $1,000 to $1,692 that are listed in the table below:

At NameJet Humans.net nailed $2,109, ORA.net nabbed $2,004, Pals.net picked up $2,000 and HomeRepairs.net pounded out $1,310. 

Back at the AfternicDLS OpenCore.net clicked for $2,088 while three others; APS.net, GetSmart.org and LittlePrince.org produced $2,000 apiece. The Afternic DLS had 34 more four-figure GC sales ranging from $1,000 to $1,900. You can check those out in the table below:

In AfternicDLS expanded promotion sales handled by Sedo, PetCheck.net chalked up $1,941, BestAutoInsurance.net covered $1,900 and ExpertComptable.net tacked on $1,116. Two others; YeastInfectionTreatment.net and ProductSearch.net each found $1,000. 

At SnapNames 4N.net returned $2,050, Stud.net stopped at $1,380, ComicCon.org conferred $1,250 and PersonalBankruptcy.org conserved $1,057. 

Elsewhere, GoDaddy Auctions booked $1,155 for BSUNet.org.
