SnapNames came
right back with consecutive wins at #3 and #4 with CreditCounselor.com
at $50,250 and MortgageInterest.com at $32,750.
Their big week continued with four more on the top half of the
chart, including RentalIncome.com ($20,000), HealthSavingsAccount.com
($16,750), Malaysians.com ($15,650) and TheLibrary.com
($15,505).
There were 17 sales of at least five
figures this week and Sedo accounted for two of those. Their hit
list included #5 ElectricGuitar.com at $25,000. Moniker.com/DomainSystems.com
also got into the act with #6 ChromeWheels.com at $24,770.
Though country codes have been enjoying a big year they were
absent from the Big Board this week. .Com dominated the
action, taking all but two entries, with .net claiming the
remaining pair. SnapNames accounted for both of those with #16 VPN.net
at $10,001 and #20 AffiliatePrograms.net at $7,750.

past week. This column is meant to be an educational tool,
not a complete list documenting ALL high
value domain sales. Such a list is impossible to produce

Global Contenders
(.biz, .info, .net & .org)
After being trounced by .org the past two
weeks, .net came back to take the top two spots on our new Global
Contenders Top 20 chart this week. #1 VPN.net went for $10,001
in a nice 3-letter sale at SnapNames and #2 AffiliatePrograms.net
attracted $7,750 at Afternic.
.Org still had more entries than any other extension, outpointing
.net 10-8, with .info claiming the other four slots (there were
22 this week due to a three-way tie for the final position). This was
one of .info's best weeks of the year. The four-letter extension
scored back to back wins in the 3rd and 4th positions with Fortuna.info
(sold for €6,000 ($7,270) at Sedo) and Idaho.info (sold
by Tariq Ghafoor in a private transaction for $7,000).
.Org got rolling with Jerry Nolte's $5,000 sale
of #5 GoDown.org through the Network
Solutions Certified Offer program. .Net
then returned to the spotlight with #6 Codes.net, sold
for $4,300 at Sedo. The merry go round continued with
.info popping back up to take lucky #7 with the €3,000
($3,677) sale of Ostsee.info ("East
Sea" in German), also at Sedo.

Country Codes
The Country Codes didn't have any
five-figure entries this week but there were 18 solid
four-figure sales in the category with Canada's .ca claiming
five of those. Germany's .de and Great Britain's .co.uk
racked up four apiece. Two of those .de's were IDNs.
We also saw a pair from Austria's .at, a nice $2,500
sale of a 3-letter .us domain and rare four-figure
sales in the .md and .cc extensions.
Sedo claimed the first three slots on our new
ccTLD leader board with DotPlanet.de at €4,000 ($4,847),
Tilers.co.uk at £2,500 ($4,380) and Carpet.at at
€3,500 ($4,241). Pool swept the next three spots with a
