.Coms Fill First Three Spots on This Week's Top 20 Sales Chart But Non .Coms Also Do Well Taking Eight Places on the Leader Board

.Coms registered another win this week, taking the top three spots on our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart and a dozen places overall. Non .com domains fared better than usual though with the ccTLDs and non .com gTLDs combining to claim eight spots on the elite list. The country codes occupied five of those with the other three going to the gTLDs.

The .com trio at the top was led by Outbreak.com, a domain that sold through Go Daddy/Afternic for $73,000. Runner up Vida.com drew $53,300 via NameJet and #3 Phonetracker.com commanded $50,000 at Sedo

The first non .com to snap the .com streak was #4 Amsterdam.org, sold at Sedo for $40,500. Sedo also took the next two spots with #5 GiveSmart.com at $40,000 and #6 3DModels.com at $33,750. Sedo went on to pile 12 of the 20 chart entries overall to lead all venues.

By Ron Jackson

The biggest of those five country code sales was #7 Drugs.ca at $27,840. The Canadian ccTLD was sold by Emall.ca Inc. who holds one of the world's best .ca portfolios. NameCore.com had the next highest country code sale, ringing up $17,000 for #13 Together.co.

In addition to that solid Amsterdam.org sale, the non .com gTLD roster featured a domain that led off the second ten, #11 (tie) Resor.info, sold for $17,500 at Sedo.

Sedo was one of three venues that collected multiple chart entries. NameJet had four, including a second top ten entry in #7 ONU.com at $30,100. Go Daddy/Afternic had two with  #10 QuickMove.com (at $20,000) joining their chart topper - Outbreak.com.

Here is how all of the sales leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 3:

 Country Codes

The quintet of five-figure sales you saw on the all extension Top 20 Chart above fill the first five slots on this week's Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart with Drugs.ca leading the way. The highest sale in this category that you haven't seen yet is #6 Fruchtsaft.de (German for "natural fruit juice"), a domain that Sedo sold for $9,585.

Sedo went on to pile up 13 of the 20 chart entries, including #7 FEY.de at $6,615, one of five German .de domains Sedo put on the chart, with four of those reaching the top half of the elite list.

Those five entries gave .de a win in the extension race followed by Montenegro's .me with three. Canada's .ca and Great Britain's .co.uk were the only other TLDs with multiple chart entries taking two each.
