2020's Biggest Domain Sale to Date Tops This Week's Chart with Another 6-Figure Sale Finishing Second

For the second week in a row DomainBooth.com Founder James Booth earned credit for the highest reported domain sale. Last week he did it by teaming up with Uniregistry to move BTI.com for $100,000. This week he moved the bar three times higher, working with DomainBoutique.com to close a $306,000 deal for Palace.com. In addition to topping our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart, Palace.com also ranks as the highest publicly reported domain sale so far this year

Sedo claimed the #2 position on the weekly leader board with a six-figure sale of their own - BettingTips.com at $150,000. They filled the #3 hole as well, adding $50,000 for Yugo.com, then went on to sweep 13 of the 21 chart entries overall (the extra spot resulted from a tie for the final position).

Another highlight of the week was the sale of #4 Gravity.net for $38,500 by Braden Pollock at LegalBrandMarketing.com. That is the second highest non .com gTLD sale reported so far in 2020. It was one of four sales from this category to crash the Big Board. Sedo accounted for one, #11 (tie) H.energy at $15,000 and Afilias logged the other two - Bitcoin.global and FIS.global, a pair of names that tied for #20 at $8,000 each.

The ccTLDs also made their presence known with three entries on the elite list, led by the $31,000 sale of #7 Routine.co at GritBrokerage.com. Sedo closed the other two, banking $25,942 for #8 HS.de and $10,000 for #15 (tie) Fly.us.

Still, the .coms again took home the lion's share, piling up 14 of the 21 entries overall. They got a boost from DomainMarket.com's $38,000 sale of #5 RealCraft.com and a $22,500 deal for #9 Hayalet.com made by Hong Kong based Noktala Ltd. Logan Flatt at Media Code LLC also contributed with an $11,000 sale of #14 Axeria.com made through the Uniregistry brokerage.
