eNaming.com Rings the Six-Figure Bell Again - Tops Chart With Four-Letter .Com

Tracy Fogarty continues to enjoy a fruitful first year as head of her own brokerage, eNaming.com. The former Domain Holdings broker opened her shop in April and has been ringing up impressive sales ever since. Tracy had the two highest sales reported this week, topping our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart with MGTV.com at $130,000 and claiming the runner-up spot as well with FranchisePlayer.com at $40,000. Tracy also scored a third time with #12 RealTimeCommunications.com at $13,500.

While two of her .coms topped the elite list, non .com domains turned in an unusually strong showing the rest of the way out, taking 12 of the remaining 18 entries. #3 66.top - a new gTLD - led that group after changing hands for $34,008 in a sale run by the Jiangsu Bangning registrar. .Top is proving to be a popular extension in China and for the second week in a row the TLD has three entries on the Top 20 Chart.

The Non .com gTLDs wound up with four chart entries overall as #11 06.org at $11,000 via Sedo joined the three .top domains on the Big Board.

By Ron Jackson

The ccTLDs turned in an even stronger performance - one of their best of the year - as they piled up eight chart entries with seven of those reaching five figures. A Philippines domain, #4 RealEstate.com.ph, led the country code charge, changing hands for $27,500 in a private transaction. Seller Sol Orwell put a second name from the same TLD on the top half or the leader board, moving #10 - Basketball.com.ph for $15,000

Sol is a well-known industry veteran who was among the first people I met in this business. Unfortunately we don't get to see as much of him as we used to because he did the smart thing and started developing some of his best names. That led to the huge success he is currently having in the fitness and nutrition field with Examine.com, a site that is keeping him very busy after being featured in more than a dozen major publications. As always we love to see nice guys finishing first and that is exactly what Sol is doing.

Sedo easily won this week's race among venues, sweeping 10 of the 20 chart entries. The only others than broke through, aside form the ones I've already mentioned, were Indus Domains with #7 LitigationLoans.com at $20,000 and NetFleet.com.au with #15 Generate.com.au at $10,475.

Country Codes

As noted earlier the ccTLDs had an outstanding week with the seven five-figure sales and eight entries on the all extension chart above. A trio including RealEstate.com.ph, Shop.be and ABC.mx led the charge with Internexos.com selling the latter domain through Sedo. Many are speculating that buyer will turn out to be Google who has snapped up a series of ABC domains (led by ABC.XYZ) for their new holding company (at this writing the Whois record shows ABC.mx being held by Mark Monitor who often represents major corporations in acquisitions).

The highest sale in this group that you haven't seen yet is #9 on our latest weekly Country Code Top 20 Chart. That is Malaysia.com.au, a name that NetFleet.com.au sold for $6,531. Four domains tied for the 10th spot at $5,500 each, with all of those being posted by Sedo who swept 13 of the 20 chart entries.

Germany's .de won the extension race with seven chart entries, followed by Australia's .com.au with five. Here is how the country code leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, August 16:

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org, .biz, .info & others, including new gTLDs)

.Top tops our Non .Com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart for the second week in a row. The new gTLD won this week's race with 66.top at $34,008 as numeric domains continue to show great strength in the Chinese market where .top has been doing well. In fact this week, 5 of the top 7 sales were premium .top domains sold by the Jiangsu Bangning registrar.

Sedo also put five domains on the top half of the leader board and they took every position on the bottom half with a roster led by #2 06.org ($11,000) and #5 Forex.net ($5,000)

The .nets won the extension race with six charted sales, nipping the five posted by .top. .Info also had a good showing with three.  Here's how all of the Non .Com gTLD leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, Aug. 16:
