It's the Same Old (but Sweet) Song! Big Sale of Same.com Tops This Week's Chart Backed by Five More Hits from the 3-Letter .Coms

Short .com domains have gotten so popular it's just a matter of time before some new band calls themselves the 3-Letter .Coms! Five more of them filled spots in the top ten on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. However a name just one letter longer, Same.com, took the top spot with a sweet $233,333 sale brokered by Larry Fischer's GetYourDomain.com (with Sedo handling the escrow).

The latest round of impressive 3-letter .com sales was led by Sedo's $78,400 sale of NFC.com. Voove.com put OKF.com in the #4 slot at $26,000 and Flippa.com secured a tie for #5 with their $25,000 sale of NUP.com. Sedo put two more on the Big Board with JUR.com and JVA.com tying for #9 at $16,500 each

Sedo also had the week's biggest ccTLD sale, scoring with #3 Veilingen.nl at $34,720. That is one of five country code domains on the leader board, including a pair of Australian domains from NetFleet.com.au - #11 Stocks.com.au at $13,728 and #14 (tie) Stockbroker.com.au at $11,088.

By Ron Jackson

The non .com gTLDs claimed a couple of spots on the elite list with Sedo moving #14 (tie) Trading.info for $11,088 and #18 (tie) Laws.org for $10,000.

Still, as is almost always the case, .the .coms captured the lion's share of the pie, raking in 14 of the 21 chart entries (the extra spot resulted from a four-way tie for the final position). Perception.com contributed to the .com cause with their $15,000 sale of #10 SlowDown.com.
