Big
Sales in Every Category Give This Week's Domain Sales Chart a
Healthy Glow
The domain aftermarket continues to
fire on all cylinders. This week we saw another six-figure .com
sale as well as one of the year's five biggest non .com gTLD
sales and one of 2015's ten biggest ccTLD sales. Luxe.com
led the charge with Heritage
Auctions (HA) closing a $172,500 sale of that
domain after putting it on the block in their live auction in New
York City last month. The domain was purchased by Luxe Valet,
a parking and valet service that recently received $20 million in
funding. The acquisition has allowed them to shorten their brand
name to simply Luxe.
HA also took the #3 spot on this week's all extension Top 20 Sales
Chart by closing SmartWatches.com at $35,000.
These latest closings helped push their total revenues from the live
event at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel past the $1.2 million mark,
with 18 of the 27 names offered now having changed hands. Sandwiched
between the two HA sales at the top of the leader board is Sedo's
$70,000 sale of #2 Generational.com. The .coms went on to
sweep 15 of the 20 chart entries (including the first five in a row)
but there was still some good news from the non .com categories.

The ccTLDs can boast of three charted
sales, two of which landed in the top ten. The highest of those, #6 Expekt.gr
(representing Greece's country code) commanded $21,200 at
Sedo, making that one of the year's ten biggest ccTLD sales. True.co
also landed on the top half of the elite list at #9 with a $17,000
sale, also via Sedo.
The non .com gTLDs had something to
celebrate too with #7 (tie) Sell.org changing hand at Flippa.com
for $20,000. That ranks among the five biggest sales in this
group so
far this year (the YTD Non .Com gTLD Chart is the third
one on the page linked to). If you look at that YTD Chart it is
interesting to see that 7 of the year's top 10 sales in this
category are .orgs. The .nets have secured only two of
those spots with the other currently held by a .info.
In addition to Heritage Auctions, Sedo and
Flippa (who all had multiple chart entries), Howard Neu
(founder of THE
Domain Conference) earned chart honors after selling #14
(tie) IrishWhiskey.com to the makers of Jamesons for €10,000
($10,600) in a private transaction.

TheccTLDs were led by the
trio of five-figure sales you saw on the all extension chart
above. The biggest sale in this group that you haven't seen yet
is # 4 on our latest weekly Country Code Top
20 Sales Chart. That is Weekend.ch, a Swiss domain
that Sedo sold for $9,327. Sedo, who piled up 18 of the
23 chart entries (a four-way tie for the final position created
the extra spots) rounded out the first five with Descuentos.es
at $7,420.
#6 SuperSport.tv followed with a $7,000
sale made by LeadGenerators.co.za.
Two other venues also earned chart honors taking two spots each.
NetFleet.com.au
scored with #11 DB.com.au ($4,937) and #16 CentralCoastCranes.com.au
($4,328) while Flippa.com booked $4,050 for #17 File.io
and $4,000 for #18 Airfare.to.
Germany's .de won the extension
race with a late charge that gave them six chart entries.
Colombia's .co was next with four. Here is how the

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org, .biz,
.info & others, including new gTLDs)
The non .com gTLDs were led by that handsome $20,000
sale of Sell.org at Flippa.com we told you about above.
EGB.net gave the category a second entry on the all extension
Top 20 with a $9,888 sale at Sedo. The biggest sale in this
group that you haven't seen yet is #3 on our latest Non .Com gTLD
Top 20 Sales Chart - a new gTLD, City.tips, at $9,010 via
Sedo.
Rounding out the first five are #4 Free-Spins.net
($5,830 at Sedo) and #5 Tablets.org ($4,551
through Flippa). Those two venues swept the 20 chart entries with
Sedo filling 14 slots and Flippa six (including four in the top
ten).
The .nets won the extension race nipping the
.orgs
6-5. As a group new gTLDs released within the past year did
well taking six entries with extensions that included .tips, .financial,
.help and .pizza. Here's how all of the Non .Com gTLD leaders
