Trio
of Six-Figure Sales (one Topping a Half Million Dollars) Headline
This Week's Domain Sales Report
Spring is still a couple of weeks
awaybut impressive domain sales continue to blossom at a
variety of venues. Heritage
Auctions closed several sizeable sales made at the live
auction they staged last month at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in
New York City, including three that smashed through the
six-figure barrier. That trio, led by NL.com at $575,000,
fills the first three slots on this week's all extension Top 20 Sales Chart.
NL.com also ranks as the third biggest sale reported so
far this year.
HA claimed the next two spots on this
week's elite list with Classic.com at $172,500 and 8.co
at $115,000. 8.co is the 2nd biggest ccTLD sale so
far in 2015, trailing only SE.TV (a name that sold for $265,149 in January).
Rounding out the first five are NameJet's$69,200 sale of #4 Buying.com and another HA sale - #5
SIE.com at $27,600.

That SIE.com sale is one of eight
three-letter .coms on the leader board as short .com domains
continue a phenomenal hot streak. NameJet accounted for six of those
three-letter sales, including #6 YRY.com at $25,022 en
route to piling up 10 of the 20 chart entries overall.
It was a huge week in general for the .coms
as they swept 18 chart positions, leaving just one spot each for the
ccTLDs and the non .com gTLDs. The latter group was
represented by Sedo's
$13,000 sale of #11 Legend.net.
While NameJet, Heritage Auctions and Sedo dominated
the leader board, DomainsNext.com
slipped into the one spot they missed, planting their flag at #13
with 0328.com at $12,000.

the ccTLD hill this weekafter that blockbuster $115,000

generated another $5,550 for them.
