A
New gTLD Tops This Week's Domain Sales Chart and 3 ccTLDs Hit the
Top 10
They say variety is the spice of life.
If that's true you will love this week's all extension Top 20
Sales Chart. With no sales higher than $35,000 reported, several
non .com domains found themselves at the VIP table alongside the
.coms on the top half
of the leader aboard. In fact that biggest sale of all was a new
gTLD - World.estate - a domain that was sold by NoktaDomains
for $35,000. Nokta actually closed the deal in April but the
sale agreement prevented them from disclosing it until now.
While .coms took the next four
spots, one of those was from a new .com namespace operated by the .co.com
registry. They sold #4 Mobile.co.com to Las Vegas
based “micro jobbing” company Mobile Inc. for $25,000
in a transaction brokered by Igloo.com.
The rest of the top ten included three ccTLDs,
led by Sedo's
$18,750 sale of #6 Erfahrung.de
("knowledge" in German). Sedo also scored with a
country code IDN - #7 Köln.tv at $14,375 and
#9 (tie) Telegram.me at $10,000. Sedo went on to pile
up 10 of the 20 chart entries including yet another ccTLD, #12 LSIP.in
at $9,600.

Nokta's chart topper wasn't the only new
gTLD on the elite list either. They put Ocean.cruises in the
#11 position after moving that domain for $9,900. Nokta piled
up eight chart entries overall, including a third non .com gTLD
- #20 Paket.net at $7,655.
While they had more competition than usual
this week, the .coms still easily won the extension race with 13
chart entries, including the PlentyOfBrands.com
sale of #13 (tie) SuiteSeats.com at $9,000.

Keep in mind that these are the highest
value cash only sales that have been reported to us in the
past week. This column is meant to be an educational tool,
not a complete list documenting ALL high

because many sales are kept private at the insistence of
buyers, sellers or both. Our procedure for verifying the

Country
Codes
The ccTLDs were led by the four
Sedo sales from this category that you saw on the all extension leader board at
the top of this report. The highest sale in this group that you haven't
seen yet is #5 on our latest weekly Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart.
That is Toothbrushes.co.uk, a name sold by NoktaDomains
for $7,200.
A pair of .tv domains followed with Domains90210.com
selling #6 Kim.tv through GoDaddy Auctions for $6,999
and Sedo moving #7 Uplift.tv for $6,000. Sedo
swept 13 of the 22 chart entries overall (the extra positions
resulted from a three-way tie for the final spot).
Other venues represented on the leader board are
DomainHoldings.com
with #10 Halloween.fi at $5,000, NetFleet.com.au
with #11 BambooFlooring.com.au at $4,854 and #15 InfinityEscorts.com.au
at $4,350, and Your.do
with #20 (tie) Win.do at $2,500.
Great Britain's .co.uk won the extension race with four chart
entries, nipping
Germany's .de and Tuvalu's .tv who had three
each. Here is how the
country code leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday,

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org, .biz,
.info & others, including new gTLDs)
The non
.com gTLDs had only one five-figure sale reported this week
but they made that one count. That $35,000 sale of World.estate
at NoktaDomains was one of the year's top 15 sales in this
category as well as one 2014's three biggest new gTLD
sales.
Aside from that headliner it was a slow week in
this category with only a dozen sales reported for the entire
group. Following the first three on the leader board (which you
also saw on the all extension Top 20 Chart earlier) we have #4 JIE.net
going for $4,800 and #5 Zhuang.net for $3,500
with Sedo handling the latter two sales.
