Six-Figure Sale of Intranet.com Helps Sedo Sweep 9 of the Week's 10 Biggest Sales

Sedo topped this week's all extension Top 20 Sales Chart after their  Senior Broker Dave Evanson closed a $160,000 deal for Intranet.com. Sedo also nailed down the #2 slot with one of the year's five biggest ccTLD sales, Sale.co.uk at $60,000 (an interesting purchase by Christoph Grueneberg and Thomas Mueller that we detailed in a report in our Lowdown section Monday).

Those two sales alone would make it a good week for anyone, but Sedo was just getting warmed up. They went on to sweep the first nine slots on the Big Board with a line up that included six .coms, a second .co.uk - #5 SmartFleet.co.uk at $17,280 - and the week's biggest non .com gTLD sale - #6 (tie) Media.info at $15,200

Michael Berkens's MostWantedDomains finally stopped the Sedo streak with #10 CatchMeUp.com at $11,300. MWD then completed the Daily Double with #12 (Tie) BuyMyBook.com at $10,000

By Ron Jackson

Afternic went one better, hitting the trifecta with a trio led by #12 (tie) BaliMap.com at $10,000. They also gave the ccTLDs, and .co.uk in particular, a third entry on the elite list with #16 (tie) ExhibitionStands.co.uk at $8,000

DomainNameSales.com got into the act with the second (and last) non .com gTLD on the leader board, #20 WaterHouse.net at $7,500. The .coms still exercised their usual domination though, piling up 15 of the 20 chart entries overall with Sedo's $27,000 sale of #3 Hornet.com adding to the .com swarm.

Here is how all of the sales leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 15:
