DomainHoldings
Rings Up Six-Figure Sale to Take the Top Spot on This Week's Domain
Sales Chart
DomainHoldings.comsits at the summit on our latest weekly all extension Top 20
Domain Sales Chart after co-brokering the $115,000 sale of
Unit.com with Zenchi.net.
That also ranks among the 10 biggest sales reported
year to date (sitting at #7 on our YTD
Top 100 Chart).
DomainHoldings also has a piece of a
second entry on this week's leader board after teaming up with DomainNameSales.com
to move #10 QuotesAboutLife.com for $29,000. DomainNameSales wound up with a hand in 8
charted sales, more than any other venue. #9 VideoCafe.com
led their roster at $30,000.
Sedo
also turned in a powerhouse performance, placing 7 names on the Big
Board including five of the eight biggest sales. Their headliner was
#2 Medicine.org at $75,000. That is the highest
.org sale reported so far this year and the second biggest sale
in the entire non .com gTLD category.
By
Ron Jackson
Medicine.org was also the only non .com
gTLD on the leader board this week, a fate shared by the ccTLDs
whose lone entry was Sedo's $38,700 sale Singlebörse.de, a
German IDN that filled the #4 slot. The .coms ran the
rest of the table, sweeping 18 of the 20 chart entries.
Afternic
contributed three big sales to the .com blitzkrieg with their
trio of chart entries led by #7 Eluxe.com at $33,500. HuntingMoon.com
also earned chart honors with #3 LiveShow.com at $40,000.

value cash only sales that have been reported to us in the
past week. This column is meant to be an educational tool,
not a complete list documenting ALL high

because many sales are kept private at the insistence of
buyers, sellers or both. Our procedure for verifying the
accuracy of domain sales reports is available here.

Country Codes
TheccTLDS continued on
their 2013 hot streak with four five-figure sales this week (all
noted in the all extension section above). The country
code leader, Singlebörse.de at $38,700 via Sedo,
also ranks at the 4th biggest ccTLD sale reported so far this
year.
The highest sale in this category that you haven't seen yet is
#5 on our new Country Code Top 20
Sales Chart. That is Toms.fr, a French domain that
banked $9,675 in a sale handled by Sedo. They went on to
pile up 16 of the 20 chart entries including all of the first
five.
Ilze Kaulins'sExcellentDomains.ca
snapped Sedo's run by selling #6 Hubert.ca (Canadian
ccTLD) for $8,927. Domain Advisors and DomainNameSales
also had a top 10 entry after teaming up to sell #8 Kilimanjaro.co.uk
for $7,800. The other two venues that broke Sedo's
stranglehold on the leader board were NetFleet.com.au
with #12 Ant.com.au at $5,543 and Afternic with
their $3,999 sale of #19 Zipline.co.
Germany's .de easily won the TLD race by
piling up 8 chart entries. Great Britain's .co.uk,
with three, was the only other extension with multiple chart
entries.

If there are country code extensions in our report
that you are not familiar with, you can look up the nation each
extension goes with here.
The non .com gTLDs had only one
five-figure sale reported this week but that one was a doozy. As I noted earlier #1 Medicine.org at $75,000 is
the biggest .org sale so far in 2013 (and the second
biggest in any non .com gTLD extension).
The race for second place on our latest Non .Com gTLD Top
20 Chart wound up in a tie with a pair of 3-letter domains
sharing that slot. Afternic sold AIH.org for $9,888
and Sedo got the same amount for FGH.net.
Rounding out the first five are #4 Immobilienbewertung.info
($6,450 via Sedo) and #5 Educomp.net ($4,088
through Afternic). Afternic went on to pile up 13 chart
entries. Sedo followed with 7 and DomainNameSales has one (the
extra spot resulted from a tie for the final position).
The .nets easily won the extension race with
12 chart entries,
followed by .org with 7. .Info and .pro
each had one. Here's how all of the Non .Com gTLD leaders stacked up for the
