Country Codes

The two biggest ccTLD sales reported so far in 2013 lead our expanded Country Code Top 40 Sales Chart this week. Pay.co hit #1 at $46,087 and Farmaci.it #2 at $26,800 with Sedo handling both of those sales (and 34 of the 41 charted sales overall with the extra spot resulting from a tie for the final position). Those both topped the previous YTD leader, Connect.tv which sold for $25,000 last month.

Seven more country code sales reached five figures. Those were all listed in the all extension section above so the biggest sale from this category that you haven't seen yet is #10 Alojamientos.es, a name that Sedo sold for $9,380. 

Germany's .de easily won the extension race piling up 15 chart entries. The only other TLDs with multiple chart entries were Great Britain's .co.uk with four,  Spain's .es and the European Union's .eu with three each and four other TLDs (.me, .co.uk, .fr and .com.au) with two each. Here is how the country code leaders stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, February 10:

There were dozens of additional four-figure ccTLD sales off the chart with Sedo accounting for the majority of those with a group led by Lbel.co.in at $3,000, Gummi-Mayer.de at $2,948 and three others; Civica.it, DigitalLifestyle.de and Swipe.de at $2,680 each.

MarineDiscount.de added $2,416 while EnhancedAnnuities.co.uk and PlayList.me made $2,325 apiece. Sedo had 83 more four-figure ccTLD sales ranging from $1,000 to $2,248 that are listed in the table below:

Afternic sold Change.us for $3,000, SimpleScience.co.uk for $2,000 and Acres.co for $1,477. 

NetFleet.com.au moved a dozen more Australian domains including CarHireBrisbane.com.au ($2,470) and a trio at $2,339 each that included InternetBetting.com.au, LottoResult.com.au and LottoTickets.com.au. NetWorkers.com.au yielded $1,905 and CarInsuranceQuotes.net.au added $1,769. 

OnlineLottery.com.au sold for $1,767, BrisbaneCarHire.com.au brought $1,511 and MyBottleShop.com.au contributed $1,310. Mosaic.com.au and Punting.com.au captured $1,195 apiece and Smash.com.au attracted $1,068.

At DomainLore.co.uk BroadbandGuide.co.uk sold for $1,628, MisSoldPPI.co.uk posted $1,418 and Broadbanduk.co.uk connected for $1,240. Speculate.co.uk spawned $1,163 and NewMusic.co.uk drummed up $1,042.

Non .com gTLDs (.biz, .info, .mobi, .net, .org, .asia, .pro & .tel)

The past two weeks were very kind to the non .com gTLDs as the four biggest sales year to date in this category were all posted in that time frame. Led by the blockbuster sale of Mobile.xxx at $160,000, those four, or course, fill the first four slots on our expanded Non .Com gTLDs Top 40 Chart this week. 

A trio of five-figure sales that you saw in the all extension section above fill the next three spots on the leader board. The biggest non .com gTLD sale that you haven't seen yet is #8 CUNY.org at $8,923 in a sale handled by NameJet. Rounding out the top ten are #9 Hausverwaltung.net ($7,906 at Sedo) and #10 OfficeFurniture.net ($6,766 at NameJet).

The .nets easily won the extension race, piling up 23 of the 40 chart entries. .Org was next with ten, followed by .info with four and three others - .xxx, .asia and .biz with one each. 

Here's how all of the Non .Com gTLD leaders stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, February 10:

There were dozens of additional four-figure sales off the chart led by NameJet's $2,628 sale of LinksLearning.org. They also sold BOM.net for $2,515 while BIB.net and Castor.org added $2,500 each. LBD.net kicked in another $2,300. 

Back at Afternic Egain.org grabbed $2,588, Inspiri.net notched $2,500, PCSI.net sold for $2,488 and HarmonyHouse.net banked $2,088. Afternic had 48 more four-figure non .com gTLD sales ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 that are listed in the table below:
