Country Codes

As noted in the all extension section above, the ccTLDs enjoyed a banner week, piling up eight entries on the all extension Top 20 chart. Those transactions, of course, fill the first eight slots on our new weekly Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart. The highest country code sale that you haven't seen yet is #9 EJP.nl, a name that went for $9,498 at Sedo. They also sold ANPR.co.uk for $8,855 to round out the top ten. 

Sedo wound up sweeping 18 of the 20 chart entries after running the table on the second half of the leader board with a group led by #11 Puntobana.it at $8,050. 

For the second week in a row, Great Britain's .co.uk easily won the extension race, taking five chart entries this time. No other TLD had more than two. Italy's .it, the Netherlands .nl and the European Union's .eu had two each with the remaining nine positions divided between nine different extensions. 

Here is how the ccTLD leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 14:

There were several dozen more four-figure ccTLD sales off the chart with Sedo accounting for all but four of those with a roster led by an IDN, Schwimmbadüberdachungen.eu (try saying that three times in a row without stumbling!)at $3,013. Four others; Cookies.fr, Insoul.de, KSB.lv and Rummikub.eu added $2,620 each. 

Fecondationinvitro.fr found another $2,619 while JobsIreland.co.uk earned $2,500 and Cloud.im cleared $2,000. Sedo had 28 more four-figure ccTLD sales ranging from $1,000 to $1,965 that are listed in the table below:

At NetFleet.com.au Orana.com.au drew $2,392, BestLifeInsurance.com.au covered $1,449, FlatbedPrinting.com.au provided $1,175 and Penny.com.au pitched in $1,056.

Non .com gTLDs (.biz, .info, .mobi, .net, .org, .asia, .pro & .tel)

The lone five figure sale in the non .com gTLD category - Restaurantes.info at $13,100 through Sedo - easily took the top spot on latest weekly Non .com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart. The runner-up, Xsoft.net, was almost $5,000 back after changing hands for $8,288 at Afternic.

Afternic went on to sweep 14 of the 20 chart entries, including 7 of the top 10 with a roster than included #4 ITEC.net at $4,000 and #5 711.net at $3,977. 

The .nets easily won the extension race, piling up 14 chart entries. The .orgs were limited to five for the second week in a row and .info had one. Fortunately for the latter TLD, that one topped all of the others. 

Here's how all of the Non .Com gTLD leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 14:

There were a couple dozen more four-figure sales off the chart led by Afternic's sales of Healthways.net, LiveMedia.net and TryIt.net at $2,000 each.  

Afternic had 14 more four-figure non .com sales ranging from $1,000 to $1,944. Those are listed in the chart below:

Back at Sedo JustPay.net posted $2,050, Stulz.net notched $1,965 and Theorie.net drew $1,487. GeorgeWashington.info went for $1,395, Arbeitsmediziner.net dispensed $1,311, Dejardefumar.net nabbed $1,310 and Mustard.org spiced things up with another $1,250.
