Country Codes

The ccTLDs had something to celebrate this week with that blockbuster sale of Buy.me at $148,350 through Sedo. The only country code sale reported this year that was bigger than that one was Saturn.pl at $189,930 back in February. That sale and the three five-figure ccTLD sales you saw in the all extension section above fill the first four slots on our new weekly Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart.

The biggest sale in this category that you haven't seen yet is #5 RealDeal.ch at $9,030 via Sedo. They went on to sweep 16 of the 20 chart entries, NoktaDomains was one of the few able to slip through Sedo's defenses, scoring with #6 BridgeLoans.co.za at $8,900. The AfternicDLS also took a spot in the top ten with #8 Frog.me at $6,880. 

Chart honors also went to NetFleet.com.au for #13 SelfManagedSuperannuation.com.au at $6,426 and to DropWizard for #17 Leads.ca at $5,000.

Germany's .de won the extension race with five chart entries followed by Montenegro's .me with three. In a remarkably diverse week, no other TLDs had multiple chart entries. 12 different extensions divided up the 12 remaining spots. 

Here is how the ccTLD leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 30:

There were several dozen more four-figure ccTLD sales off the chart with Sedo accounting for all but five of those with a list that included Psychotherapie-muenchen.de and Werthaus.de at $3,741 each and Gondwana.de at $3,612. 

They also sold Digicert.de and YQ.eu for $3,225 apiece and LED.co for $3,125. Sedo had 45 more four-figure ccTLD sales ranging from $1,000 to $3,096 that are listed in the table below:

At NetFleet.com.au Downlights.com.au drew $2,547, WeddingBands.com.au banked $1,305, Kitchens.net.au yielded $1,122 and Northstrathfield.com.au corralled $1,111.

Elsewhere, DomainLore.co.uk sold YE.co.uk for $1,771.

Non .com gTLDs (.biz, .info, .mobi, .net, .org, .asia, .pro & .tel)

The five-figure sales of House.net ($40,000) and DVF.net ($12,888) set the pace for the non .com gTLDs this week. The AfternicDLS handled both of those sales to take the top two spots on our latest weekly Non .com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart. 

Sedo took the next three with a trio of .orgs; OnlineSportsBetting.org ($8,500), Projects.org ($7,500) and McFarland.org ($6,500). The .nets answered by winning the extension race with 12 chart entries compared to eight for .org. The other two spots went to #10 (tie) Soccer.biz at $3,900 and #12 MyPhone.mobi at $3,879 - both through Sedo. The extra two spots resulted from a three-way tie for the final position. 

The race among venues broke down in similar fashion - the AfternicDLS winning with 12 charts entries compared to eight for Sedo, with one each going to NoktaDomains and NameJet.

Here's how all of the Non .Com gTLD leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 30:

There were several dozen more four-figure sales off the chart led by Sedo's $2,999 sale of Ebig.net. They also moved Balearen.net and FenetrePVC.net for $1,935 each and Accessorize.net for $1,900. Weidezaun.org went for $1,613 while Raman.net and VDP.info fetched $1,500 apiece. 

At the AfternicDLS CollegeAdmission.org and EnergySolution.net generated $2,988 each while CCash.net added $2,588. 

The AfternicDLS had 39 more four-figure non .com sales ranging from $1,000 to $2,500. Those are listed in the chart below:

At NameJet ArabLeagueOnline.org and Chemsoc.org sold for $2,600 apiece, World-Links.org clicked for $2,459 and MIM.org made $2,301. Vocations.org earned $2,020 and 5Tigers.org chewed up $2,000.

Elsewhere, KeyWest.xxx changed hands for $2,000 in a private transaction and NoktaDomains sold AustralianArt.net for $1,250.
