NDDCamp
was founded by two French domain
name investors, David Chelly
and Philippe Franck. The have
succeeded in establishing an event
that attracts registrars, lawyers,
domain names investors, SEO
consultants and other professionals
who deal with domain names.
While
NDDCamp is a conference and
networking event designed to help
participants make new contacts and
improve their knowledge of the
sector, the founders say it also
have some key differences
from other industry events. A
primary one is that the event is free
to attend, though registration
is reserved for industry
professionals. They also skip other
standard conference fare like a
sponsor exhibit hall and live domain
auction. The focus is entirely on
face to face relationship building
and learning.
