OneHome .com Wins Top Spot on This Week's Domain Sales Chart with High Five-Figure Sale at Sedo

There is no place like "home" - especially when home is a keyword in a meaningful domain name. Sedo illustrated that again this week, bringing home the bacon with a $70,000 sale of OneHome .com that tops our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart (for some reason Google is preventing us from connecting OneHome and the TLD so we are printing them separately). Sedo went on to claim eight chart entries overall, including the week's biggest ccTLD sale - #4 Nutztierhaltung.de ("livestock" in German) at $24,420 - and the week's biggest non .com gTLD sale - #6 (tie) Can.org at $20,000.

Uniregistry also had a strong outing, sweeping 10 spots on the elite list with #5 Receiptmaker.com leading their roster at $22,000. Uni's sales were all .coms with one exception. They put new gTLD Brand.review in the #18 slot after selling it for $10,250. Their .com blitz helped the world's most popular extension fill 13 of the 20 chart entries.

The .coms also got an assist from Douglas Bates's $30,270 sale of #2 Terragene.com in a private transaction and from a sale AbdulBasit.com made through Sedo - #3 Quaestor.com at $26,000. Yet another that tied for #6 featured the sale of a Japanese IDN domain via GoDaddy.   リゾートバイト.com (Japanese for "resort jobs") produced an impressive $20,000 payday.

By Ron Jackson

The ccTLDs wound up with four spots on the Big Board, all produced by Sedo, including #10 Gartenwelt.de ("garden world" in German) at $15,851. The remaining three entries went to non .com gTLDs with #20 Innovator.org, $9,750 at Sedo, joining the two I already mentioned, Can.org and Brand.review.

In another notable sales story before we go to the charts, Tatiana Bonneau at Markupgrade.com spotted a news story this week that said job board neuvoo had spent approximately $1.3 million to acquire Talent.com to replace their current name. We are trying to get confirmation from the company of the exact price paid which would allow us to chart the sale. If it was in he range reported that would put it among the year's five biggest sales to date.

Now back to the business at hand. Here's how all of the sales leaders stacked for the week ending Sunday, December 8, 2019:

Keep in mind that these are the highest value cash only sales that have been reported to us in the past week. This column is meant to be an educational tool, not a complete list documenting ALL high value domain sales. Such a list is impossible to produce because many sales are kept private at the insistence of buyers, sellers or both.
