Solid Week for Domain Sales - Top Four Totaled over $500,000 With a Pair of 6-Figure Sales Leading the Way

Boosted by NameJet's release of their February sales data, there are some nice numbers on our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. The largest of those is Single.com at a cool $290,000 - the year's 3rd biggest sale to date. That domain drew the highest bid in the RightOfTheDot/NameJet live auction at NamesCon in late January and just recently closed.

NameJet had another six-figure sales with #2 Lows.com at $104,501 and they had two more names in the first five - #4 TFS.com at $47,250 and #5 Murphy.com at $45,000. Sandwiched among those, BQDN.com filled the #3 slot with 3L.com at $82,000.

Two other closed sales from that RightOfTheDot/NameJet auction were charted this week - #6 YEA.com at $44,500 and #8 InternetServices.com at $32,000. They helped NameJet stake a claim on 11 of the 21 chart entries (the extra spot resulting from a tie for the final position).

By Ron Jackson

BQDN and Sedo each had four names on the Big Board. BQDN's quartet included a second top ten entry in #7 JHJ.com at $35,800. Sedo's top sale was #17 Elektromobil.com at $14,700.

Mike Mann's DomainMarket.com also earned chart honors with #12 AKFX.com at $17,000 and Rupii.com scored with #18 CSSBot.com at $11,000.

The .coms turned in an overwhelmingly dominant performance, sweeping 19 of the 21 chart entries. That left the ccTLDs with one entry - #19 ICH.de at $10,605 via Sedo - and the non .com gTLDs the other with #20 Fly.info at $10,500, also through Sedo.
