.Coms Sweep 17 of 20 Entries on This Week's Domain Sales Chart and Bag the Four Biggest

You've heard of the calm before the storm - the past week was more like the calm after the storm. We had a 7-figure sale and a quartet of six-figure sales raining dollars on the chart in our last report but this week no reported sales broke out of the mid five-figure range. That left the door open for Suzies.com to saunter into the top spot on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart with a $62,050 sale at Go Daddy/Afternic

The runner-up slot went to our friend Michael Cyger at DomainSherpa.com who sold his Tolo.com for $40,250 in a deal brokered by MediaOptions.com. Rounding out the first five were InterracialPorn.com ($24,000 at HuntingMoon.com), PuzzleRings.com ($18,000 at Sedo) and the week's biggest non .com gTLD sale, Scroogle.org at $17,100 though Go Daddy/Afternic.

The week's best ccTLD sale followed with #6 CompanyShop.co.uk going for $16,800 at Sedo. They also placed a second country code domain in the top ten with #8 Casinos.com.br bringing $13,500

By Ron Jackson

The .coms claimed every remaining chart entry, sweeping 17 of the 20 positions overall. The bulk of those went through Sedo who led all venues by claiming 11 places on the elite list. Go Daddy/Afternic also had a good outing with six, including #7 FlyAway.com at $15,000.

Here is how all of the sales leaders stacked up for the week ending Sunday, June 8

This column is meant to be an educational tool, not a complete list documenting ALL high value domain sales. Such a list is impossible to produce because many sales are kept private at the insistence of buyers, sellers or both.
