The ccTLDs
were led by a quintet of five-figure sales, including one that landed
on the all extension Top 20 Sale Chart that you saw on page 1. That
was Sedo's
$19,457 sale of EnergieAusweis.de. In addition to
topping our latest Country
Code Top 20 Sales Chart that sale started a torrid Sedo run that
saw them sweep the entire top 10 and 20 of 22 entries overall
(the extra spots resulted from a four-way tie for the final position).
The other five-figure sales
in this group were also noted in the all extension section, so the
highest ccTLD sale you haven't seen yet is Sedo's $9,810 sale
of #6 Innehalten.de ("pause" in German). The only
exceptions to the Sedo rule were a CAD 9,146 ($6,825) sale of #11 ORA.ca
by Ilze Kaulins-Plaskacz from ExcellentDomains.ca
and a $4,001 sale of MyLicence.org.uk via DomainLore.uk.
Germany's popular
.de scored a runaway win in the TLD race with 11 chart
entries. No other TLD had more than two. Here is how the ccTLDs stacked up for the
three weeks ending Sunday, January 7, 2024:

Non .com gTLDs
The Non .com
gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart is led by a trio of domains that
also crashed the all extension Top 20 Sales Chart on page 1. Sedo
accounted for two of those - chart-topper Ten.xyz at $29,888
and #3 BINSearch.info at $16,350. Sandwiched between
those is LegalBrandMarketing's
$25,000 sale of Vertex.net. Sedo rounded out the first five
with FreeSlots.online at $8,500 and InspireHealth.org
at $6,999.
Sedo went on to claim nine
chart entries overall. Sister sites NameJet
and SnapNames
(both owned by Web.com) combined for ten entries with NameJet
posting six and SnapNames four. The .orgs scored a solid win in
the extension race with nine chart entries, outdistancing the six
posted by the .nets.
