Pair of Sales Totaling $11.6 Million Gives Top of New DNJ Chart an Unprecedented One-Two Punch

By now, most of you have heard about the $10 million sale of Connect.com that George Kirikos uncovered is a 1Q-2022 SEC Filing. That sale came to light just a few days after the $15 million sale of NFTs.com headlined our our last bi-weekly sales report. Connect.com's addition to our charts in this update marks the first time we've ever had back-to-back eight-figure sales on our leader board. In another first, a new $1.6 million sale of Call.com, handled by veteran Sedo broker Frank Tillmanns, makes our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart (below), the first ever to include both an 8-figure sale and a 7-figure sale.

With Call.com moving into a tie for 5th place on our Year-to-Date Top 100 Sales Chart - and NFTs.com and Connect.com moving into the first two spots, we've now had three of the year's six biggest sales come to light in just the past two weeks. Connect.com also moved into the #4 spot on our All-Time Top 20 reported sales chart. So much for slow news days in the summer!

Those three blockbusters aren't the end of the good news either. Our latest leader board also includes a couple of nice six-figure sales. Braden Pollock at LegalBrandMarketing rang the big-money bell with a $250,000 sale of #3 Laura.com and James Booth at DomainBooth.com put Gaming.io in the #4 spot after collecting the final payment in a $105,000 deal for that domain. Gaming.io also now ranks as the 2nd biggest ccTLD sale of the year to date, trailing only Sedo's $159,00 sale of Termin.de ("meeting" in German) in April. Booth went on to claim two more spots in the top ten with #6 Rattlesnake.com at $65,000 and #7 MAYC.com at $60,000.

The latter two sales helped the .coms pile up 15 of the 20 chart entries, including a $57,388 sale of #8 SierraPower.com at Mike Mann's Domain Market.com. The .coms also got a boost from DNBX with their $25,000 sale of #12 (tie) Keeta.com via Dan.com, as well as biix.com where #15 PrintingHomes.com produced $22,966 and SnapNames where #16 MedJobs.com earned $22,755.

The ccTLDs wound up with three chart entries thanks to Sedo's sales of #11 Gene.ai ($25,500) and #17 Law.co ($22,500) that rounded out the power trio led by Gaming.io.

The remaining spots went to a pair of nice non .com gTLD sales. Chris Gehrer sold #9 Galileo.net at Afternic for $50,000 and Swetha.xyz banked $24,500 for #14 Singular.xyz.
