Country
Codes
The ccTLDs
continue to make noise week after week. This time around the track DomainBooth.com
delivered a $105,000 blast by closing a deal for Gaming.io
that headlines our latest Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart. That
is also the second biggest ccTLD sale reported so
far this year (the YTD ccTLD Top 100 Chart is the
second chart on the page linked to). A trio of five-figure sales
followed, all posted by Sedo
including #2 Gene.ai at $25,500.
Sedo, the long-time king of
country code domain sales, went on to sweep 17 of the 21 chart
entries, including a pair that tied for #6 - DM.tv and
Unix.fr - at $6,120 each. The only other venue with
multiple sales was Dan.com
with three, including a pair made for Andy Media (Andy.co.uk).
Those were #5 NewFreeBets.co.uk at $6,171 and #9 Emma.uk
at $5,929.

ccTLD sales stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, August

Non .com gTLDs
The non .com gTLDs
also continued to generate good results with a quintet of five-figure
sales. Chris Gehrer's $50,000 sale of Galileo.net via
Afternic led the charge to land at #1 on or latest Non.
com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart.
.XYZ domains also
continued to be a force in this category, piling up seven chart
entries, four of which were posted by Swetha.xyz,
including #2 Singular.xyz at $24,500. In a sign of the
times, 13 of the 20 chart entries were "new gTLDs." On
the top half of the chart those included #7 NYC.finance at $6,000
