Breaking
news: Just as we finished this report Wednesday
evening (Oct. 27), we got word from veteran broker James
Booth (Booth.com) that he has closed a $3.8 million
sale of IT.com that will rank as the highest reported
sale of the year to date.
We expect to be
adding IT.com to our charts when we release our next
bi-weekly report and update on November 10. James also
reported closing a $150,000 sale of Chronic.com
that we will be charting then as well.

Update: Initial word on the IT.com sale came from
seller's broker James Booth. We have now gotten additional
details on the transaction from the buyer's broker, including
a payment plan for the domain and a new use for the domain
that began today. Since full payment will be made over time,
IT.com cannot be charted this year. Details on all of that are
in our Lowdown
section.

The
domain aftermarket continued to fire on all cylinders over
the past two weeks. The big sales were there - led by one at $600,000
and another at $450,000 that helped the .coms
pile up 13 entries on our latest all extension Top 20 Sales
Chart, but the ccTLDs and Non .com gTLDs also
had a strong presence on the Big Board. The country code
domains scored four times while the non .com G's put three on
the elite list. The
headliners are a couple of sales we told you about in our Lowdown
section over the past week - a $600,000 deal
for ZeroCarbon.com closed by veteran broker Edward
Smeu and the $450,000
sale of NIF.com in a private transaction. Edward
also revealed the price he

realized
in brokering the 2020 sale of Monetary.com - $277,447.
That allowed us to add that sale to the 2020
Top 100 Sales Chart in our Domain
Sales Archive where it ranks as the 10th highest
sale reported for that year. We
learned of yet another six-figure sale this week that came
from Sedo's
latest Great Domains auction where Senior Broker Dave
Evanson oversaw a $350,000 sale of Portugal.com.
That one was awaiting transfer at press time but should be
ready to chart in our next report. Joe
Uddeme at NameExperts.com
claimed the #3 spot on the new chart with GreenPlaces.com
at $82,000 and Sedo completed the first four
with a $75,000 sale of Adorable.com. Sedo also
helped James Jean sell #5 MetaXR.com for $60,000
in the latest of what has been an eye-popping string of
"Meta" keyword domain sales. In fact that was just
one of three that James put on this week's chart. He also
scored with #10 MetaDating.net at $35,000 and
#12 MetaFB.net at $30,000, with Sedo again
handling both transactions.

Mike Delucia was
among those contributing to the latest .com haul as he scored
using another uber popular term (NFT), banking $44,000 with his sale of
MusicNFTs.com via DAN.com.
Mike hand registered that domain for $8.39 last year - a
perfect example of how fast new technologies and developments can
explode and create amazing opportunities in the domain space.
The quartet of ccTLDs that I
mentioned above was led by a £22,500 ($31,050) sale of #11 Menu.co.uk
at BuyDomainNames.co.uk.
UnicDomains
chipped in with #17 UOF.ca at $23,500 with the other two
being rung up by perennial country code powerhouse Sedo.
DNGear
rounded out the non .com gTLD trio on the honor roll with their
$19,888 sale of #18 Power.pro joining the two meta related
.nets in the trio.

of the 20 chart entries with a roster than included an $8,700
sale of #6 Fan-tastic.de. The ccTLDs also got a boost
from a CAD 10,000 ($8,100 U.S.) sale of #7 CashForScrap.ca
by EMall.ca
and Media
Code LLC's $8,000 sale of #8 Upside.ai.
Germany's .de scored
another win in the TLD race with seven chart entries while Canada's .ca
also made a solid showing with four charted sales. No other TLD had

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org and

The Non .Com gTLDs
were, of course, led by their trio of five-figure sales
that made the all extension leader aboard above. A pair of .net
sales that Sedo made for James Jean set the pace
with MetaDating.net making $35,000 and MetaFB.net
adding $30,000. The biggest sale in this group that you
haven't seen yet is #4 on our latest Non .com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart.
That is another Sedo sale, EMN.org at $12,500.
A $7,500 sale
of Drama.club at Google Domains rounded out the
first five. Sedo then continued on their way toward 16 chart
entries overall with #6 Simply.life at $6,899.
Another new TLD, Cube.art, was next at #7 with a $6,250
sale at Name.com. PDR Ltd. landed the other
sale that didn't go to Sedo, ringing up $1,540 for #20
Rush.club.
