ICA Announces Location for 2024 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas - Early Bird Ticket Offer Ends Sept. 10

The Internet Commerce Association (ICA) has finalized the dates and location for their 2024 Annual Member Meeting in Las Vegas. The dates were actually set in June when the ICA sent out a note to members to let them know they should keep January 17-20, 2024 clear on their calendar. They completed the picture over the weekend when they confirmed the event will return to Resorts World, where their very well received 2023 Meeting was held.

While the core of the meeting will be two full business days, Thursday and Friday (January 18 & 19), The ICA will again bookend those with activities for those arriving early (January 17) or staying over a day (January 20). The full preliminary agenda we received looks like this:

  • Wednesday, January 17th: For those who will be arriving early or are already in town for the Affiliate Summit, we will arrange a low-key evening of dinner and drinks.

  • Thursday, January 18th: We kick off with registration and go straight into group activities during the day, followed by an evening opening dinner reception.

  • Friday, January 19th: Get ready for informative sessions, interactive panels and guru tables during the day, and look forward to our evening dinner reception.

  • Saturday, January 20th: For those staying through Saturday, we have bonus sessions and activities planned. We are also considering organizing a show or dinner for the evening if a considerable number of our attendees decide to stay.

Kamila Sekiewicz
ICA Executive Director

ICA Executive Director Kamila Sekiewicz invited members and anyone who would like to become a member of the ICA (the non-profit organization that fights to protects domain registrant's rights) to "Join us for this one-of-a-kind event, learn, reconnect with friends, and make new connections, all while enjoying great food, refreshing drinks, and fun activities. With the combined energy of our members, the 2024 ICA Member Meeting is gearing up to be an epic rendezvous. Let's co-create, collaborate, and celebrate in the heart of Vegas!"

If you decide to join the ICA at the Premium Individual level ($600 annually) before the show you will get half off the price of one ticket (free tickets are available for new Bronze, Bronze Plus, Silver and Gold members). Members can now buy your tickets here.  The ICA's block of discounted rooms at Resorts World are also ready for you to book here

In a related note, Domain Name Wire's Andrew Allemann and I will both be at the ICA meeting again in January and hope to see you there. As it happens we recently got together on a call to record episode #451 of Andrew's popular DNW podcast that he just released today. In the new show, we talk about the domain name market so far in 2023 and compare the current sales charts vs. those from last year and run through the top public sales of 2023. We also discuss some of the biggest trends in domain sales, including the artificial intelligence boom that has been fueling .ai sales.

Andrew also includes current news on a variety of topics on each of his podcasts. In this episode he covers Namecheap badges, CBS, CentralNic and more.
