Five 6-Figure Domain Sales, Including Three of the Year's 10 Biggest Sales Reported to Date, Light Up DNJournal's Latest Charts

Spring is here and flowers aren't the only things in bloom. High end domain sales have been blossoming all over the place since our last bi-weekly update. The seeds for the biggest one, TXT.com at $502,205 were actually planted at this time last year when Fruits.co announced the start of a 12-month lease to own deal for the domain. The final payment was made March 19 and the transfer completed. The owners are putting their prime asset to good use with a new messaging platform designed to help influencers and others with large followings manage communications with their followers. TXT.com is now the 4th highest publicly reported domain sale of the year to date

The next two highest sales on our latest all-extension Top 20 Sales Chart, #2 Agon.com, sold for $249,000 at Atom.com, and #3 Terafab.ai, $174,257 via Spaceship, also rank among the YTD Top 10. Two more 6-figure sales lit up the leader board with Sedo selling #4 YAL.com for $139,000 and Corgi.com going for $118,000 in a private transaction.

With the artificial intelligence boom helping .ai become the first TLD ever to give .com any degree of serious competition, the .coms reminded everyone that they're still steering the ship by sweeping 17 of the 20 entries on our latest leader board. Even, so it is not uncommon to see AI incorporated in top selling .com strings as well, like #6 ExpressAI.com, a name that Sedo sold for $97,948.

The other two non .com domains that joined Terafab.ai on the honor roll were #9 Longevity.app, a very nice new gTLD sale made by TopDomains at $74,988, and #18 Digi.uk at £18,000 ($23,760) through BuyDomainNames.co.uk

While there wasn't a lot of diversity in TLDs, the sales came from a broad range of venues. Only two had multiple chart entries with Sedo ringing the bell 7 times (including , appropriately enough #7 ZMO.com at $95,000) and Mike Mann's DomainMarket banging the gong 4 times (also apropos as Mike is a drummer)! His list was led by #8 EverydayElectric.com at $94,888.

One other note that is especially relevant after seeing an LTO agreement yield the #1 sale. James Booth at DomainBooth.com announced he just opened a $549,929 lease to own transaction for Sequent.com. It's a 48-month term so it will be awhile before that one is  eligible for the charts, but the $11,457 a month it generates along the way will make the wait a lot more pleasant for James!

Here is how the leaders lined up  for the two weeks ending Sunday, March 29, 2026:

Country Codes

The ccTLDs caught a ride into the spotlight on Spaceship's $174,257 sale of Terafab.ai. A group of five-figure co-stars followed to fill the first five spots on our latest Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart. You saw all of those in the all-extension section above so the biggest sales in the group that you haven't seen yet are a pair from Sedo - #6 AgentWorkflows.io at $9,888 and #7 Sonik.ai at $8,000.

Sedo went on a rampage from there, sweeping every remaining entry on the honor roll. ccTLDs have always been in their wheelhouse so it is not unusual to see them run the table this way, but that doesn't make it any less impressive!

Non .com gTLDs

The $74,988 sale of Longevity.app at TopDomains overshadowed everything else on our latest non .com gTLD Top 20 Chart. With so many attractive names selling mostly in the low to mid four figure range, it looked like buyers made some nice acquisitions this time out - especially if they will be developing the names. Personal favorites include O.app at $6,500, AI.accountants at $5,000 and Agent.art at $3,105.

Of course, with the new gTLDs you have to look deeper and see what the renewal costs are. Some premiums cost as much to renew each year as you pay the first year. In those cases the deal doesn't look so good, unless you can build a profitable enough business on the domain to justify the ongoing expense.
