Fall
is here and with its arrival the domain aftermarket seemed
to take the word a little too literally as
reported sales volume over the past two weeks was the lightest
we've seen since last spring. Still, no matter what the
season is, you can count on seeing a high flying comet or
two in the sales sky. The latest examples lead our latest
all-extension Top 20 Sales Chart with one of the year's
five biggest non .com gTLD sales to date setting the
pace. That was a $150,000 sale of Intelligence.xyz
that Swetha.xyz
made via Afternic.
That is also the 2nd highest .xyz so far in 2025, trailing
only the $287,500 sale of Super.xyz at Atom.com last month.

The back story on
the next highest sale is one of the most compelling ones we've
seen in a long time. Industry veteran John D. at DNOption.com
has been toiling in the domain mines for the past 10 years
with one prime directive - he would not publicly report a
domain sale until he had one that broke the $100,000 mark.
Well, the gag order he imposed upon himself has finally been lifted
thanks to a stunning $117,000 sale of Fintiv.com
that John just closed through the Spaceship
SellerHub. The amazing thing is John had bought
the domain just last year in a DropCatch.com auction for $857!
Another cool twist is this started out to be a Lease to Own
deal at Spaceship, but just a week after it started,
the buyer changed their mind and paid the full tab to take
immediate ownership! John
gave a special shout-out to industry pioneer Mike Mann
who, in addition to DomainMarket.com,
also runs AccurateAppraisals.com.
John used the service to determine an asking price for
Fintiv.com. It came back with the $117,000 valuation and
that's what John went with, giving him an spectacular payday
and providing Mike's service a great testimonial. By the way,
Mike had a big sale of his own that we expect to chart
in our next report - a $94,888 sale of HappyMonster.com
that was Pending Transfer at this writing but soon to be
on its way to a new home.

Fintiv.com was one
of 13 .coms on the latest honor roll, joined by four ccTLDs
and four non .com gTLDs. In a rare turn of events, .io
led the ccTLD group instead of .ai and did so
convincingly by posting two of the top five sales and taking
three places overall. The .io headliners were #3 QFX.io
at $49,888 via Sedo
and #5 Touchless.io at $46,549 through Atom.com.
WeBroker.vc
also rang the country code bell with a $28,000 sale of
#8 Concept.vc.
In addition the the #1
sale, the non .com gTLDs scored with a pair of $45,000 sales
that tied for #6 - one from Sedo in DCF.org and the
other from Dynadot
where Auto.finance changed hands. Dynadot also
accounted for the #14 sale of Share.center at $20,212.
Among those contributing to .com's
double digit outing were Gregg Everett (GE Media) with
a $24,888 sale of #11 VisitMissouri.com through
Afternic and Anna Bastian with a $21,888 sale of
#13 Yubit.com, also via Afternic.

Country
Codes
After seemingly endless
weeks of .ai dominating the action, .io finally had an
opportunity to shine this time around the track, posting three of the
four biggest sales in this category, led by that $49,888 sale
of QFX.io at Sedo. Two others also earned spots on our
latest Country Code Top 20 Sales
Chart with #9 Bridger.io bagging $9,360 and
#17 IO-CO.io adding $6,000. Both of those sales were
also made at Sedo.
Sedo went on to sweep 15 of
the 20 chart entries including a pair that tied for #5 - Empower.us
and Miami.co at $12,000 each. Those were followed by an $11,700
sale of #7 Tuinhuis.nl ("garden house" in Dutch) at WebShopOvername.nl.
