A
Quarter-Million Dollar .Com and YTD Top Ten Sales from ccTLD &
New gTLD Domains Top Latest Chart
In this last round
up of domain sales until after the holiday break, we found
some nice luxury gifts underneath the aftermarket Christmas
tree to tell you about. The headliner on our latest all-extension Top 20 Domain Sales Chart
is a $250,000 sale of Plunge.com via David
Clements's Brannans.com
brokerage that was reported by DomainInvesting.com.
The
next two names on the Big Board rank among the year's 10
biggest publicly reported sales to date in their respective
categories. James Booth (DomainBooth.com)
and Squadhelp
joined forces to move ccTLD heavyweight Eleven.io
for $121,000. Sedo
followed with one of 2023's best non .com gTLD sales,
banking $78,900
for 789.win. It looks like Sedo has another gem coming
soon
since Peace.com
attracted a high bid of $400,000
in their latest Great Domains auction. Barring any hiccups,
that one will likely appear in their next data release, due to
come in January 9.
With limited
aftermarket data being released until then, our next report
will be coming out Wednesday evening, January 10 (with
new ones, as usual, every other week thereafter). That report
will include sales from the last two weeks of 2023 that will
allow us to finalize our Top
100 Charts for the current year.
In the meantime, there is still a
lot to talk about from the past two weeks. It was an
especially productive fortnight for the ccTLDs who
swept 11 of the 21 chart entries (the extra spot
resulting from a three-way tie for the final spot). That even
topped the eight spots claimed by .coms. While
Eleven.io lead the country code charge, the group also got top
ten hits from #5 Nomos.ai at $55,000 through
DomainBooth.com, #7 PX.io at $41,800 and #8 TVBet.com.br
at $20,001 with Sedo ringing up the latter two
sales.
The non .com gTLDs
added three chart entries to their side of the ledger with
789.win getting support from Sedo's $14,999 sale of #11
GMS.net and an $11,550 sale of #16 SparkProgram.org
at GoDaddy.

Country
Codes
The ccTLDs were,
as you saw above, led by that eye-popping $121,000 sale
of Eleven.io and the 10 five-figure sales that followed it on
the all extension leader board. The biggest sale in this group that
you haven't seen yet is the #11 name on our latest Country
Code Top 20 Sales Chart. That is Sedo's $9,999 sale of Reset.in.
Sedo, the perennial
800-pound gorilla of the country code category, went on to sweep 20 of
the 22 chart entries (there was a three-way tie for the final
position) with a roster also included at $8,000 sale of #12
Encrypt.ai.
Germany's popular
.de scored their usual win in the TLD race with five chart
entries, followed by the hot .ai TLD with three. It was a very
diverse couple of weeks though with 13 different extensions
represented on the elite list. Here is how the ccTLDs stacked up for the
two weeks ending Sunday, December 17, 2023:

Non .com gTLDs
The Non .com
gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart is led by that trio of five-figure sales
totaling over $100,000 that you saw on the all extension leader board
above, with Sedo's $79,800 sale of 789.win leading the
way. The biggest sale in this category that you haven't seen yet is
the #4 domain on our latest Non .com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart - Godaddy's
$7,400 sale of KKKK.net.
Sedo rounded out the first
five with System.engineering at $5,720 and went on to
take six of the top ten spots. Still, GoDaddy wound up with the most
entries overall after filling 10 of the 20 slots on the honor
roll.
The .orgs won the
extension race with nine chart entries, followed by the .nets
with six. Here is how all of the non
