Sedo
turned up the heat up our
latest bi-weekly all-extension Top 20 Domain Sales Chart
with a $150,000 sale of Hot7.com. They wound up
with three of the top five entries on the honor roll, also
scoring with #3 QLAR.com at $81,000 and #4 (tie)
Grades.com at $80,000. Sedo broker Negar
Hajikhani helped Mike Melen from SmartSites.com
acquire Grades.com for an upcoming AI-related
project.
Speaking of AI, the
artificial intelligence boom continues to spark aftermarket
interest in top tier .ai domain names. After ringing up
a $110,000 sale of Precise.ai that we charted in our last
report, Andy Booth from Booth.com
is back this week with another .ai dinger - #2 Study.ai
at $90,000.
|
|
Afternic
made an impressive non .com gTLD run that started with
an $80,000 sale of #4 (tie) Poker.club, followed
by #6 H.vip at $40,000 and #7 Fitness.club
at $35,000. They added two more on the second half of
elite list, banking $24,999 for #11 Business.law
and $19,999 for #12 Insurance.law. The
.coms still wound up with the lion's share of the
spoils, piling up 14 of the 21 chart entries (the extra spot
came from a tie for the final position). Sedo accounted for
most of those with Dynadot
adding to the bounty after their sales of #10
EuropeanUnion.com at $27,014 and #17 Pinged.com
at $11,910. The
ccTLDs were limited to two spots this time around the
track with the Study.ai sale (that also ranks among top
10 country code domain sales of the year
to date) and Sedo's $15,000 sale of #14 CEO.co.

Country
Codes
The ccTLDs were,
as you saw above, led by Andy Booth's big sale of Study.ai
at $90,000 and Sedo's $15,000 sale of CEO.co.
Sedo also accounted for the rest of the upper half our latest Country
Code Top 20 Sales Chart. They booked $9,720 for #3
Lumi.de, $6,966 for #4 EZE.eu and $6,888 for
#5 Z.gd.
Sedo, who always dominates
the ccTLD category, went on to sweep 18 of the 20 chart entries. Dynadot
joined Andy Booth in being an exception to the Sedo rule by moving #6 Hush.io
for $5,790.
Germany's popular
.de scored their usual win in the TLD race by piling up eight
chart
entries. Even so, it was a diverse fortnight overall as 11
different TLDs earned chart entries. Here is how the ccTLDs stacked up for the
two weeks ending Sunday, December 3, 2023:
