A Six-Figure .Com and Year's Highest Non .Com gTLD Sale Reported to Date Top New Sales Chart

As they usually do in June when more people are on vacation and away from the office, the overall number of aftermarket sales slowed over he past couple of weeks, but there were several bright spots among those that did comes in. Another six-figure .com sale came to light, along with the biggest non .com gTLD sale reported so far this year and a solid group of five-figure ccTLD sales - six of which made the all extension Top 20 Sales Chart and one that ranks among the five biggest country code sales reported so far in 2023.

A $250,000 sale of Onyx.com in a private transaction that was reported in an SEC filing led the charge. Sedo followed with a nice $96,000 sale of W.app that also takes

over the #1 spot on our YTD Non .Com gTLD Top 100 Sales Chart (the third chart on the page linked to). Sedo also booked the $57,729 sale of #3 Aim.io which is the fifth biggest ccTLD sale reported year to date.

The .coms regained the upper hand by taking the next three spots and 12 of 20 chart entries overall. Sedo, GoDaddy, Grit Brokerage (with a $30,000 sale of FinMed.com for Michael Law) and Above.com (with Senior Broker Nathan Parker's $20,000 sale of TheRootNetwork.com) all helped the .com cause.

The ccTLDs resumed their hit parade with two more top 10 entries from Sedo - #7 (tie) ApostaLegal.com.br at $30,000 and #10 Coupons.co.uk at $23,680. Sedo accounted for five of the six charted country code sales overall with the exception being Ilze Kaulins-Plaskacz's $15,200 ($20,000 Canadian) sale of AV.ca through her ExcellentDomains.ca site.

In addition to that big W.app sale, the non .com gTLDs put one more entry on the Big Board. That was Michael Law's $23,500 sale of #11 Osiris.net. Michael wrote on Twitter that he had just gotten the domain a few months earlier on NamePros for $400

Here is how all of the leaders stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, June 18, 2023:
