Country Codes

As we noted in the all extension section on page 1, the ccTLDs were on fire over the past couple of weeks, putting up a trio of six-figure sales, all of which rank among the 10 biggest country code sales reported so far this year. The top spot on our latest Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart goes  to Sedo's jaw-dropping $180,880 sale of eCommerce.de. That was followed by a $120,000 Ledger.io bomb brokered by Domainofy and closed through Afternic for sellers Jay Paudyal and Arun Bansal, and a $100,000 B.et blast ignited by DomainHacks.

Every other domain in the top ten reached five figures. We listed all of those in the all extension section on page 1, so the biggest sale in this group that you haven't seen yet is Sedo's $9,877 sale of Aiden.eu. They followed that one wit Wizer.de $9,520 and Wonder.us at $9,500. Sedo went on to sweep 15 of the 20 chart entries.

Here is how the top ccTLD sales stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, June 20, 2021:

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org and others, including new gTLDs)

The Non .Com gTLDs were led a quartet of five-figure sales headed by NameJet's $21,889 sale of Share.net. Those were all listed among the all extension leaders on page 1, so the highest sales in this group that you haven't seen yet are a pair of Sedo sales that tied for #5 on our bi-weekly Non.Com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart. Those are Nature.xyz and Solid.app at $8,925 apiece.

The .orgs scored a close win in the extension race with six chart entries, one better than the .nets. Here is how all of the non .com gTLD sales stacked up for the two weeks ending ending Sunday, June 20, 2021:
