Country Codes
Things just keep getting
better for the ccTLDs. Over the past two weeks this group logged
their two biggest sales of the year
to date, with both reaching six figures. The new #1 is
Metaverse.io, a domain that changed hands for $175,000 in a
deal brokered by MediaOptions.com.
James Booth at DomainBooth.com
also rang the six-figure bell, hauling in $120,000 for Porn.co.
The rest of our new bi-weekly Country Code Top 20 Sales Chart
is loaded with solid five-figure sales. 17 entries on the honor roll
reached that level - the most we've seen at one time.
This is a category that Sedo
has traditionally dominated and they continued to get the lion's share
of the sales, sweeping 14 of the 20 chart entries with a roster led by
#3 UM.co at $65,450. They added $50,000 for #5 Swap.io.
Sandwiched between those two is GoDaddy's
$62,500 sale of UX.com, making for a very impressive
first five.
Chart honors also went to Park.io
for their $49,999 sale of Skin.io, MrPremium.com
where Mark Ghoriafi sold Teach.io for $35,000
and TriadDomains.com
where Sentry.co sold for $24,450. Here is how the
top ccTLD sales stacked up for the two weeks ending Sunday, March 14,

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org and
others, including new gTLDs)
Things were a little
quieter on the Non .Com gTLD front this time around the
track. Only two sales from this group reached five figures - chart
topper ArchitectureForHumanity.org sold for $10,550 at
NameJet and
#2 OX.club went for $10,000 via Sedo.
.CLUB has been one of the group's bright spots ever since the Clubhouse
App started taking the social media world be storm.
"Clubs" are an integral part of the platform's landscape so
it appears many users are getting .CLUB domains to match their social
media identity. On our latest Non.Com gTLD Top 20 Sales Chart,
only .ORG had more chart entries than .CLUB this week, winning
a close TLD race 7-6.
Rounding out the first five
are #3 The.network at $9,995 via Sedo, and a pair or .nets
- CQQH.net ($9,750 at SnapNames) and XCSV.net
($5,949 at Sedo). Here is how all of the reported non .com gTLD
sales stacked up for the two weeks ending ending Sunday, March 14,
