Mike
Mann Lights Up This Week's Sales Chart With #1 Sale and 3 More in
the Top Ten
We've been having unusually
hot fall weather in Florida this week but perhaps its just
the heat from industry pioneer Mike Mann burning up our
latest bi-weekly all-extension Top 20 Sales Chart. In
addition to taking the top spot on the leader board with Lightrock.com
at $94,888, the DomainMarket.com
founder went on to claim three of the five biggest sales and
four of the top ten overall.
In
addition to listing his massive .com-centric portfolio on his
own site, Mann utilizes other top venues to give his domains
maximum exposure. The buyer of Lightrock.com, Liechtenstein
based Lightrock Holding AG found Mann's listing on Afternic.com.
After selling #2
ModernComputing.com
for $53,900 Mann turned to Afternic again to move #5
Fantaseek.com for $29,888, then used Sedo
for one more dunk, slamming home a $14,888 sale of
Antum.com.
Sedo staged a rampage of their own
as they piled up six of the top ten sales then encored with a complete
sweep of the second half of the elite list. The Sedo charge was led by
#3 RCV.com at $53,000 and the week's biggest ccTLD sale,
#4 Tourist.de at €32,000 ($37,760). Three other
country code domains earned spots on the honor roll with all of those
reaching the the top ten including a $17,882 sale of Historia.pl
("history in Polish) at Aftermarket.pl.
Sedo completed the ccTLD quartet with #9 Parkour.de at $14,042
and #10 Pan.de at $13,688.
With the .coms rolling up 14 of
the 20 chart entries, that left just two spots for the non .com
gTLDs. Those went to Sedo's sales of #12 (tie) CKH.org at $12,500
and #15 Uni.finance at $11,799.
Here's how
all of the sales leaders stacked up for the two weeks
