Phenomenal Outing for Phenom.com - James Booth's Brokerage Banks Over $750,000 With 4 of Week's Top 5 Sales

Domain broker James Booth recently upgraded his sales site, moving from BQDN.com (an acronym for Best Quality Domain Names) to a prestigious one-word .com - Phenom.com. The first list of completed sales we received from him since he re-branded certainly lives up to the phenomenal name. James rang up over $750,000 en route to claiming four of the top five spots on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. He topped the hit list with one of the year's top 10 sales to date, IJ.com at at a cool $550,000. The domain went to a Chinese company that operates 5i5j.com.

Phenom filled the #2 slot with Rude.com at $100,000 and #3 with HLG.com at $70,000. The latter domain was one Booth had purchased for himself just two weeks previously before deciding to flip it to the operators of HorticultureLightingGroup.com. After Uniregistry stepped into the #4 hole with Placemaker.com at $40,000, Phenom completed its high flying quartet with #5 Flax.com at $35,000 - and Booth still wasn't done. He put yet another name on the elite list, this time scoring with a ccTLD - #15 CBD.it at $17,000.

By Ron Jackson

The CBD.it sale represented just one of the four country code sales that earned places on the Big Board. Sedo secured the biggest one, banking $22,200 for #10 Kama.co. Silent.Domains added another, brokering a deal that sent #13 (tie) Paw.ca to the owners of Paw.com for $18,000. Uniregistry rounded out the ccTLD contingent with #20 HirePay.co at $13,800.

The non .com gTLDs also made their presence known by putting three names on the honor roll - all of them .orgs. NameJet sold the two biggest ones - #6 KnowYourStuff.org at $30,600 and #8 CFAH.org at $24,300. Sedo booked the third - #11 PC.org at $20,500

Non .com gTLDs (.net, .org and others, including new gTLDs)

The non .com gTLDs were led by those three solid five-figure sales (all .orgs) that you saw on the all-extension Top 20 Chart above. The big dog was NameJet's $30,600 sale of KnowYourStuff.org. The highest sale in this group that you haven't see yet is also a .org! That is IRDA.org, the #4 domain on our latest weekly Non .Com gTLD Top Sales Chart after a $6,088 sale at NameJet.

Uniregistry finally snapped the .org run, rounding out the first five with ServiceWare.net at $5,000. NameJet recorded the most sales in this group with seven and Sedo also had a strong outing with six chart entries. An individual domain investor, Zurab Kodalashvili, made his mark with a trio of .pro sales that concluded the leader board - Earn.pro and Rich.pro at $1,500 each and Winner.pro at $1,290.
